The True Meaning of Digital Photography
The meaning of digital photography is nearly the same as 4x5 transparency photography. In addition to your photography craft you will excellent camera equipment plus you'll need additional camera batteries and media cards. If you’re going to take professional portraits with your Canon digital camera you should really opt for buying the best portrait lens. The regular lens that comes as a kit with your digital camera will not be sufficient as the glass on those lenses are as sharp. One of the important things about digital photography is the awesome ability to view your images once they are downloaded to your computer. Photographers have the ability to take additional family photographs from various angles while at the same time erasing images that are not up to par.
I remember the days of shooting film with my Mamiya RB 67. I would take 10-12 images and I would be done. I had to use a light meter on every photo I took. Most of my portrait sessions would take no more than 45 minutes. Today us photographers have become lazy and we take 60 - 80 or more knowing we can always erase what images we don't want or like because we can see the results instantly from the back of the camera.
Digital photography is by no means a cure-all to easier quality senior portrait photographs and headshots. The same care and attention should be considered through the whole process. Digital photography gives a professional photographer a creative license to be more creative and talented. Only a trained eye can see light and know what poses are appropriate for each situation.
